We are looking for a Senior SEO specialist to join our superstar developers team. Our mission is to build and expand one of the biggest Travel websites on the planet. We are investing heavily in reviews, photos, streaming video, internationalization, and improvements to the user experience.

Your job is to help build the next-generation user interface to deep and authoritative review, video, photo and entertainment/ experience data. This user interface needs to scale to millions of site visitors a day, work in any language, and function flawlessly across a wide variety of web browsers.

As a Sr. SEO specialist, you will be responsible creating and maintaining website components, as well as for refining and executing a best-practices SEO strategy. You must be familiar with tools to generate SEO metrics using Web Analytics software and monitor the effectiveness of SEO initiatives. In addition, you must be able to present and prioritize strategies with management, and be the internal promoter for ideas across the countries.

* Develop and maintain SEO strategy and project plan
* Evangelize SEO throughout the organization
* Educate staff on the latest SEO techniques (important!)
* Support optimizing site architecture for SEO
* Develop, Maintain, and Lead implementation of SEO strategy across multiple teams and source markets

* Report on key metrics using Web Analytics and project status to stakeholders across the organization
* Write code to improve indexing and ranking of web pages
* Train other engineers and team members in the latest SEO techniques
* Enhance coding standards for maximum SEO benefit
* Review code to check for possible SEO ramifications
* Keep up to date on the latest SEO trends and practices

* Must have at least 3 – 4 years of advanced SEO experience
* Expertise with common SEO ranking and Web Analytical tools
* Knowledge and understanding of current search engine algorithms / methods
* Must have led successful SEO projects which resulted in significant growth in traffic and conversions
* Must have strong design and coding skills, including in C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, and other web technologies
* Experience with CMS systems is a plus
* Must have experience working in a start-up environment with short term defined software development process (we use Agile Scrum as a methodology)
* Must have experience working with internal customers (source markets)
* Must have experience leading/managing a project, including ensuring the project is on schedule, making decisions necessary to bring project in on time, and communicating status to management and peers

* Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
* Software development experience in PHP-5, C++ or Java
* Formal training in information architecture or interface design
