Functie omschrijving
Besides consumers, more and more companies start to use our clients website to sell their products. Our client offer for these users a bulk driven sales program including an API for electronic data exchange.
To get bulk sellers connected, help them discover all the features and troubleshoot issues, we are looking for a product support officer. It is important that you take the lead in clear communication and build clear processes in this fast paced environment. You will be responsible for the health of the API connections.
The Job Responsibilities
- For this role you will advise on the technical implementations of the API by the customer.
- When necessary you can provide programming code examples in the language of choice of the customer.
- You understand the full end-to-end information stream and assist on mapping data elements from the customer data structure to the Markplaats.nl system.
- In day-to-day operation of the API you are the central contact of our partners. On reported API problems you troubleshoot by executing test SOAP calls.
- You manage API issues and enhancements towards the Site Operation, Quality Assurance and Development departments.
- Advanced technical support for new and existing clients .
- Work with internal and external teams to resolve issues
- Onboard new clients
- Guide clients on best practices to avoid issues
- Create and enhance guides for technical connections (e.g., how to, code examples in multiple languages, etc.)
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have;
- Bachelors or Masters in an engineering discipline with Computer Science being preferred
- Focus on client service/satisfaction
- Advanced technical capabilities on understanding how to connect APIs
- Ability to code small SOAP sample applications and read relevant third party code in C#, Java, PHP, and Perl.
- Good communication skills both verbally as well as non-verbal in Dutch and English.
