You will be part of main the interface between IT and the businesses of our worldwide company.
In this role you will be involved in identifying and realizing and improving of Information Technology processes and functions core to the Value Space “Marketing Excellence”.
Department
The value Space Marketing Excellence covers our touch points with all end-users of our products and services. This includes consumers of Consumer Lifestyle products, as well as professionals working with Lighting solutions and medical specialists working with our Healthcare solutions. We have defined 10 different programs, like consumer intimacy, marketing preparation and social media to anticipate the wishes of the business.
Within the Value Space Marketing Excellence we are looking for Marketing Professionals with experience in Marketing areas like Social Media, Content Management, Mobile solutions, E-Commerce and other internet solutions.
This is a temporary position with start date 1 November.
Responsibilities
The aim of the job of Business Process Expert is to support the Business process manager establishing world-class business processes. For this the expert brings in expertise about specific Marketing processes, such as Social Media, Content Management, E-Commerce, etc., and is able to use this to define process improvements, both within the sector as well as cross sector. She / He forms the bridge between the business process owners and the IT organization.
As a Marketing Consultant – New Media you will have the following key areas of responsibility:
- Delegated responsibilities of the Business Process Manager role for a smaller scope (a specific sector and/or sub process).
- Translating Marketing Strategy into a Business Process Improvement roadmap
- Full control cycle responsibility for Business Process Innovation and Harmonization for a (Marketing) process group, leading to “added value” contribution in the Marketing Excellence value space;
- Applying concepts, guidelines, methodology and principles required to achieve world-class performance with regards to a process group
- Assuring external benchmarking of business processes.
- Owning and maintaining the content of the Business Process Framework for the processes under his responsibility;
- Assuring the integration of Marketing Processes;
- Driving continuous business process innovation and harmonization initiatives;
- Contributing to best practice sharing and guide the cross learning;
- Reviewing the performance of the marketing operation after the implementation and ensure that projected benefits are achieved, by defining and implementing process KPI’s and by auditing related ways of working.
The employee will be reporting to the Business Process Manager.
This is a temporary position, with start date 1 November.
Candidate Profile
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years (business) experience of which minimally 2 years outside IT in Marketing process areas such as Social Media, Content Management, E-Commerce or related
- Preferably management experience in one of the following areas:
o Leading multi disciplinary, high performance working teams
o Program management efforts involving the coordination of resources and goals across multiple, related projects
o Developing and monitoring the delivery of efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
o Strategic planning, leadership and relationship management - Preferably experience in a Green or Black Belt role
Required knowledge and capabilities:
- In depth knowledge of Marketing processes in own process area
- Ability to deploy new processes and to train people in new processes
- In-depth knowledge of process analysis and redesign methods (such as business process re-engineering, Six Sigma or total quality management) and modeling tools (such as IDS Casewise, Scheer, Troux, IBM Telelogic or Mega), preferably in own process area.
- Understanding of BPM, workflow and integration methods and tools.
- In depth knowledge of setting up and measurement of process performance indicators for own process area
- Ability to reach out across the organization and communicate with people at different levels, with diverse needs and agendas; related capabilities include facilitation and teaming skills.
- In depth knowledge of innovative business models, vision and processes in own process area
- Thorough understanding of developments in the industry for own process area.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive with the ability to multi-task
- An excellent analytical and problem solving skill
- An entrepreneur with consulting skills.
